Yin Yoga and Sound Bath | Newent

  • Chamber 22 22 Broad Street GL18 1JA United Kingdom (map)

Join us on Sunday 11 October for 2 hours of total relaxation at Chamber 22, Newent. Hosted in a beautiful converted church, the nurturing yin yoga and healing sounds of the gongs will provide you with space to slow down and rest.

This Yin Yoga and Sound Bath session will run from 4-6pm on Sunday 11 October and give you the space to rest and decompress as we welcome the energy of autumn.

Yin yoga is a passive and calming form of yoga where we hold poses for 3-5 minutes, targeting the deep connective tissues and promoting a relaxation response in the mind and body. We use props like blocks, blankets and pillows to support us in each pose.

The sound bath then helps us to reach an even deeper level of relaxation by allowing us to bathe in sound waves in a meditative state. The gong is the ultimate sound healing tool, as it has the broadest range of tones of any instrument. Mark brings in various layers of sounds and uses other instruments to complement the gongs.

Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment! Can't wait to share this experience with you.

The session will take place at Chamber 22, Newent, 22 Broad Street, GL18 1AJ. There is parking at the back of the building or nearby at the library.
