Are you new to yoga and want to learn more about the practice before joining a regular weekly class? This 4 week course is for you.
Running from Tuesday 7 Jan until Tuesday 28 Jan at 7.15pm, the classes will move at a slower pace and break down the foundations of common yoga poses.
They will be slow flow style sessions, where we learn the principles behind the practice including:
the connection between movement and the breath
how to move slowly and mindfully, tuning into how each pose feels
listening to your body and modifying poses where needed
how to use yoga blocks to support your practice
The aim is that you leave this course with a strong foundation and feel confident continuing your yoga journey in a group class setting.
Yoga mats and blocks are provided.
